is a voluntary professional organization that was established in 2013 to serve Puntland medical doctors who are currently practicing. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that operates independently under the laws of Somalia, and boasts a membership of over 300 individuals across the country. The Puntland Medical Association (PMA) is committed to improving the overall health and the broader community in Somalia. To achieve this goal, the PMA focuses on enhancing the ability of medical professionals to take decisive action through advocacy, information dissemination, and the provision of healthcare services.
